Here is the front of the house with the bushes gone.  We planted azaleas in place of them.  We tore up the yard a little bit trying to get the large bushes out it was quite the feat!  Now we can enjoy our little front porch which looks out on a huge 2,000 acre farm.  We are still working on the bushes on the sides of the house.  One side of the house we are just trimming them and one side they will be removed.  But, there is a little problem that is also a joy!

A bird has made its home in the bush on the back, right side of the porch.  We will probably take out the bushes on the left, but we will have to leave the right side alone until the eggs hatch and they take flight.  There are steps going up right beside the tree where the bird is nesting.  Allison went up the steps today and the bird dive bombed her!  It scared her to death.  It was kinda funny!  Sorry Alli:}  Our bird friend is a Cardinal.  I think we will name her Betsy.  Sounds fitting doesn't it.  We will work all weekend on some finishing touches.  I hope to have some more before and after pics for you sometime this weekend.  Plus, we have some great pics of our apple and cheery trees.  Thanks for allowing us to share our adventure with you!
